We have resources either act as a general turn – key contractor, overtake any part of your project or provide construction services based on hourly or fixed price.

In order to live up to the vision this company has, it is required to have an organization of individuals who work in the same direction. One of SVERHUS strengths is to combine talented individuals into teams that complement and assist each other in challenging construction projects. Together we work with project efficiency and production management to reach our high goals.

Sver | hus history

My name is Ernest (Ernie), I am a founder of company SVERHUS. I put all of my heart creating the contents of this website, which presents who we are and why we are engaged in these activities.

I started learning carpentry and construction fundamentals in historic Nantucket Island (USA). In 2004 I graduated Cape Cod Community College and gained Carpentry diploma. I had a wonderful mentor – Kenneth Norton (K. Norton Builders Inc.) who taught and inspired me how to combine best human qualities in running a successful construction company. The principle is very simple: be focused, keep learning, keep your promises and treat others as you would like to be treated.

During 2006-2010 I was running my own company (Ernest Jennings Construction LLC). The scope of daily work was project planning meetings with property owners, architects, sub-contractors, even putting a toolbelt on and getting to work with the boys. Construction projects found me through the word of mouth. I was honoured to gain the trust from clients such as: Rocco Iossa (USA Congresman), Donald Battiston (REV. Deacon), Cambridge professor). I realised, that it doesn’t matter where do you come from to be trusted, but most important is to share best human qualities not only with the loved ones, but also in daily life and especially in business matters.

The success of any project depends on good preparation, quality control during the process and getting work done in time. We are used to work with challenging projects, which have precisely set deadlines and custom ordered materials. Some of our projects were in Arlanda Airport, Helsingborg train station, Emporia mall (Malmo) and Kungsbacka shopping centre in Sweden

Personal and professional development strengthens the individual and the team. We understand, that positive microclimate at work is essential for reaching same goal together. No matter if we are running project with internal resources or together with other contractors, the principle remains the same: be friendly and solve all matters in professional manner.

03 Focus in improvement

No process is perfect – there is always room for improvement, innovation and development. We analyse overall and each stage results even for exceeded expectation projects to find if there is any room to make it even better and have frequent meetings with all level employees to highlight and fix any weak areas.

04 Focus in feedback

In the order to understand, accept, take responsibility and create mutual trust, it is important that we respect customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, the environment and the world around us. It might take numerous perfectly accomplished projects to get a positive feedback and be noticed, but only one failure can raise a red flag above and it might take a lot of time to get it gone. We present Project Evaluation Survey to all of our customers to get the real view how did we do.

05 Focus in sustainable construction

We are convinced that sustainable construction is a prerequisite for a future sustainable society and it is also a responsibility we carry with us for future generations. For turn-key projects we use advanced systems to prepare an accurate material calculation. It not only help us to be highly competitive, but also avoids unnecessary waste.
